I keep wondering what it will take for the Obama train to derail. Richard Danzig equated the war on terror with lessons learned from Winnie the Pooh..."...if it is causing you too much pain, try something else." He also stated, “Winnie the Pooh seems to me to be a fundamental text on national security.”
So let me see if I follow this correctly. Obama's assumed pick to head up national security is working on the "Everything I Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten" theory. Then it is apparent to me that one would have to also assume we can expect the Obama economic policy to be governed by all we learned from The Count on Sesame Street, and that energy policy will be gleaned from the wisdom of Elmo. If we have tensions with other countries we can expect a rousing chorus of " I Love you. You love me. We're a happy family." led by Secretary of State, Barney the Dinosaur.
I guess I should not be surprised. I mean, what should one expect from a candidate or party that has no sense of reality anyway?
If I could, I would like to make a quick recommendation to Obama for the Secretary of Defense though...I hear Underdog is looking for work these days.
